Fulton/Taste and see that the Lord is sweet
I found Fulton's perspective on taste to be very interesting. As you can hear or see something without physically touching the matter, taste is not like that. In order to taste something, you have to physically let your tongue make contact. The author even goes into detail on how flavor is different from the taste. The flavor relies on smell, temperature, mouthfeel, and the look of the substance. To have "taste" means one can clearly distinguish between what tastes "good" and what tastes "bad." It is hard for me to grasp this concept because everyone has a different preference when it comes to taste. In my opinion, no one can truly have a correct sense of taste.
