Synchronized Sixth Sense

In typical times, I would be quietly laughing at the idea of a sixth sense being anything other than instinct, or perhaps your brain subtly combining your senses to tell you something a singular sense couldn't arrive to the conclusion of, such as "Hey you're about to be in danger" etc.

But these are not normal times, for first time in a long time, everyone in the world is thinking similar thoughts, being in similar situations, facing the same problems. Perhaps the last time people felt close to this was the rebuking sting of 2016, when waves of conservatives and troublesome figures took power all around the world. This might be the first time we've felt dread and stress that has eclipsed that... sigh

The pessimist in me wonders how little will change once the crisis ends, the pessimist in me also points out that the crisis will have to end before you can really make those kinds of guesses

However, for the first time a a really long time, maybe since world war two ended or 9/11, the world will have gone through a life changing experience that has left no corner of the world untouched, everyone is watching, no one can avoid talking about it. Within the next two years there will probably be a baby boom, with the working title Generation-C, and with the exception of them, there will be a binding tie between the human race, probably for the next 30 to 50 years

Thats where we come back to the sixth sense, under the panic and stress, I believe that this will ultimately bring the human race closer to together (a rare thought from the optimist in me). That all our our senses will tell us new information as we process the presence of others, especially those that come less than 6 feet away from us. I believe that in the aftermath of all this, we'll be able to understand what people went through just by looking at them, of course it's not just vision, but that imperceptible something extra that manifests as a reaction or thought in your head. The question then is will you greet that person with a hug or keep your distance?
